Sales Executive

Job Details
YOVU is looking for a Sales Executive to help grow and accelerate our client base. The Sales Executive will be responsible for engaging new businesses, as well as generating their own leads via prospecting and cold calling. Sales Executives must be self-motivated, as generating revenue for the business will be compensated through a very competitive commission plan. Position Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails, including researching accounts and identifying the key players
  • Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making presentations
  • Understanding customers current process and business challenges, and recommend products and services based on their needs and requirements
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products customers are currently using, and obtaining feedback during probing call
  • Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams on deployments
  • Pipeline management and reporting

Education and experience required

  • Post-secondary education (University degree or 3 year College diploma)
  • 2-3 years minimum experience in B2B sales
    • Ideally from the software/telecom industry, though not a requirement
  • Salesforce.com knowledge an asset

Technical Support Specialist

We pride ourselves on superior customer support, as this role is on the front lines dealing directly with our clients, this position is crucial in our organization. Interactions are done primarily via phone and email, with the goal to provide outstanding service by solving issues in a timely manner. Your time will be divided between working on customer support calls 60% and assisting with the deployments of new customers moving to YOVU Cloud Office Phone service. This is a ground floor opportunity to work in a small but growing business.

Skills required

  • Familiar with networking (VLAN’s, routing, DHCP, NAT traversal)
  • Experience using Wireshark or other network tracing tools an asset
  • Passion for technology and eager to learn about a new industry
  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude
  • The ability to remain composed while solving complex issues in challenging situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Other nice to have skills

  • Understanding of API’s and web services
  • Windows & Linux scripting knowledge
  • SQL or Postgres basic to intermediate skills
  • HTML, Javascript & CSS skills would be advantageous
